3. Services Offered
Greek Soul provides access to travel and tourism services in Santorini, Greece, which may include:
- Private and semi-private tours.
- Sightseeing tours and customised itineraries.
- Transfers and transportation services.
- Excursions, activities and experiences.
- Other tourism services described on our website or in a booking confirmation.
The exact services, duration, itinerary, inclusions, exclusions, meeting point and price will be specified in the relevant service description, quotation or booking confirmation.
Services are subject to availability and may vary according to the selected option, season, weather conditions and operational requirements.
4. Third-Party Suppliers
Certain tours, activities, transfers and other services advertised or arranged through Greek Soul may be provided or operated by independent third-party suppliers.
Where applicable, the relevant supplier may be responsible for the actual operation and delivery of the service, including vehicles, equipment, personnel, activity arrangements and operational safety.
Greek Soul may act as the booking intermediary, the organiser or the provider of a service, depending on the specific booking and applicable law. The applicable role and any relevant supplier conditions will be communicated where required.
The involvement of a third-party supplier does not exclude or limit any responsibility or liability that Greek Soul may have under mandatory applicable law.
Any supplier-specific conditions will apply only where they have been properly communicated before booking and are legally applicable. In the event of a conflict, mandatory consumer protection law will prevail.
5. Booking Procedure and Confirmation
Customers may make booking requests through our website, by email, by telephone or through another booking channel made available by Greek Soul.
A booking request is not necessarily a confirmed reservation. A booking is confirmed when Greek Soul or the relevant authorised booking provider sends a confirmation specifying the agreed service and applicable price, subject to any stated payment requirements.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information, including:
- Full name and contact details.
- Selected service, date and time.
- Number of participants.
- Pick-up location and accommodation details, where applicable.
- Any relevant requirements or information requested for the service.
Please check your confirmation carefully and contact us promptly if any information is incorrect.
6. Prices, Payments and Inclusions
Prices are stated in the currency indicated at the time of booking. Applicable taxes and charges will be disclosed as required by law.
The booking description or confirmation will specify what is included in the price and, where relevant, what is excluded. Unless expressly stated otherwise, additional personal expenses, optional purchases, meals, entrance fees, tips and other extras are not included.
Payment methods, payment deadlines and any deposit requirements will be communicated during the booking process.
Customers must pay the amount due in accordance with the confirmed booking terms. A reservation may not be considered secured until any required payment has been received.
If a payment fails or is not received by the stated deadline, Greek Soul may contact the customer to resolve the issue and may cancel an unconfirmed or unpaid booking where permitted by law and the applicable booking conditions.
7. Booking Amendments
Requests to change a booking must be submitted to Greek Soul as soon as possible.
Changes to the date, time, number of participants, itinerary, pick-up location or selected service are subject to availability and confirmation. Additional charges may apply if the change affects the price or requires additional arrangements.
Where a requested change cannot be accommodated, the original booking conditions will continue to apply unless otherwise agreed or required by law.
A request to change a booking does not automatically cancel the original reservation.
8. Customer Cancellation Policy
Customers may cancel a booking by contacting Greek Soul using the contact details in these Terms & Conditions. The cancellation time is calculated by reference to the scheduled start time of the booked service, using the local time in Santorini, Greece.
The following cancellation policy applies unless a different policy has been clearly disclosed before booking and validly applies to the specific service, subject always to mandatory applicable law.
More than 48 hours before the scheduled service:
The customer is entitled to a 100% refund of the amount paid for the cancelled service.
Between 24 and 48 hours before the scheduled service:
A cancellation fee of 50% of the amount paid applies. The remaining 50% will be refunded.
Less than 24 hours before the scheduled service:
The booking is non-refundable, and 100% of the amount paid for the cancelled service will be retained.
Failure to attend the service at the agreed time and location, or arriving too late to participate, may be treated as a cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice, subject to the specific service conditions and applicable law.
If a booking includes multiple separately identifiable activities, the cancellation policy may be applied to the cancelled activity or service component, as specified in the booking confirmation.
Nothing in this section limits any non-excludable consumer rights.
9. Weather-Related Cancellations
The safety of customers and the proper operation of activities are important to Greek Soul and its suppliers. Certain outdoor, sea-based or other activities may be affected by weather conditions.
Where an activity is cancelled because weather conditions make it unsafe or impracticable to operate, the customer will be offered an alternative date, subject to availability.
If the customer does not wish to reschedule the affected activity, the customer will receive a 100% refund of the amount paid for that affected activity.
This weather-related refund policy applies whether the activity is operated directly by Greek Soul or by a third-party supplier.
Where only one activity within a booking is affected by the weather, the refund under this section applies to that affected activity. Other activities or services that remain available and are not cancelled will remain subject to their applicable booking conditions.
Where an entire booking is cancelled, the refund will relate to the services cancelled. Any other treatment required by mandatory applicable law will prevail over this section.
A customer’s personal preference not to participate, where the activity remains operational and has not been cancelled or materially changed, does not by itself constitute a weather-related cancellation.
10. Cancellations by Greek Soul or a Supplier
If Greek Soul or the relevant supplier cancels a confirmed service for a reason other than weather, Greek Soul will inform the customer as soon as reasonably possible and, where appropriate, offer an alternative date or service.
If the customer does not accept the proposed alternative, the customer will be refunded for the cancelled service, unless a different outcome is required by the applicable booking terms and is lawful.
Where a supplier is unable to provide a service, Greek Soul will make reasonable efforts to communicate available options and assist the customer.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes any refund, compensation or other remedy that the customer may be entitled to under mandatory applicable law.
11. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be initiated within 14 calendar days of confirmation of the refund, unless a shorter deadline is required by applicable law.
Where mandatory law requires a refund to be made within a shorter period calculated from another event, that legal deadline will prevail.
Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed with the customer or required by law.
The time required for the refunded amount to appear in the customer’s account may depend on the payment provider, bank or card issuer and may fall outside Greek Soul’s control.
Where a booking was paid for through a third-party booking platform or another payment provider, the refund may need to be processed through that provider’s system.
12. Transfers and Pick-Up Arrangements
Customers are responsible for providing accurate pick-up and drop-off details and for being ready at the agreed location and time.
Pick-up instructions, meeting points, vehicle details and any applicable waiting arrangements will be provided in the booking confirmation or communicated separately.
Customers should allow sufficient time to reach the meeting point. Delays caused by traffic, road closures, access restrictions or other circumstances may affect the timing of a transfer or tour.
If a customer cannot locate the driver or meeting point, they should contact Greek Soul promptly using the contact details provided in the booking confirmation.
If a customer is absent at the agreed time and cannot be reached, the service may be treated as a no-show in accordance with the applicable booking conditions and mandatory law.
Customers must use seat belts and comply with reasonable safety instructions given by the driver or service operator.
13. Custom Tours and Itineraries
Custom tours and itineraries are arranged according to the customer’s preferences, the agreed quotation and operational availability.
Any requested changes to the route, duration, stops or inclusions must be agreed in advance. Additional charges may apply.
The actual order of visits or stops may need to change due to traffic, weather, opening hours, safety concerns, local restrictions or other operational circumstances. Where reasonably possible, Greek Soul or the relevant supplier will seek to provide a comparable experience.
Specific stops, venues or experiences cannot be guaranteed unless expressly confirmed in writing.
14. Customer Responsibilities and Safety
Customers must follow all reasonable instructions given by Greek Soul, the tour guide, driver, activity leader or supplier.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that they are physically and otherwise able to participate in the booked service and for reviewing any stated age, fitness, health, equipment or other participation requirements before booking.
Customers must inform Greek Soul before the service of any relevant requirement that could affect safe participation or the arrangements, to the extent reasonably necessary and appropriate.
Customers must behave respectfully towards staff, suppliers, other participants, local residents and property.
Greek Soul or the relevant operator may refuse participation or discontinue a customer’s participation where reasonably necessary for safety, unlawful conduct, serious disruption or failure to comply with essential safety instructions. Any resulting cancellation or refund will be handled in accordance with the applicable booking terms and mandatory law.
Customers are responsible for their personal belongings unless responsibility for loss or damage is imposed by applicable law.
15. Children and Minors
Children and minors may participate only where permitted by the specific service conditions.
A parent, legal guardian or responsible accompanying adult must supervise minors as required by law and by the service operator’s safety rules.
Customers must check any age restrictions, minimum height requirements or supervision requirements before completing a booking.
16. Third-Party Services and Special Conditions
Some services may be subject to additional conditions imposed by the operator, venue, transport provider or activity supplier.
Where relevant, these conditions will be communicated before the booking is finalised or included in the booking confirmation.
Customers are responsible for reviewing any applicable instructions regarding check-in, identification, equipment, clothing, participation, accessibility and safety.
Any additional conditions must be consistent with applicable law and cannot remove mandatory consumer rights.
17. Package Travel and Combined Services
Some combinations of travel services may be subject to specific legal requirements under applicable Greek and European Union law, including legislation implementing Directive (EU) 2015/2302 on package travel and linked travel arrangements.
Whether a booking qualifies as a package, a linked travel arrangement or an individual service depends on the services combined, the booking process and the legal role of the parties involved.
Where such legislation applies, the relevant pre-contractual information, organiser details, liability rules, insolvency protection and other mandatory rights will be provided as required by law.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude obligations that apply to Greek Soul as an organiser, retailer or other relevant tourism business under applicable legislation.
18. Complaints and Customer Support
If a customer has a concern about a booking or service, they should contact Greek Soul as soon as reasonably possible so that the issue can be reviewed.
Complaints may be submitted by email to info@greeksoul.gr or by telephone at +30 22860 85203.
Where possible, customers should include their booking reference, the date of the service, a description of the issue and any relevant supporting information.
Greek Soul will review complaints and seek to respond within a reasonable period. Submitting a complaint does not affect any statutory rights or available legal remedies.
19. Consumer Rights and Right of Withdrawal
Customers benefit from the consumer rights provided by applicable Greek and European Union law, including Greek consumer protection legislation, as amended.
The statutory 14-day right of withdrawal that may apply to certain distance contracts is subject to legal exceptions. In particular, the right of withdrawal may not apply to certain leisure services where the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance, as set out in applicable law.
The availability of a right of withdrawal depends on the nature of the service and the applicable legal provisions. It should not be assumed that every booking can be cancelled free of charge within 14 days.
The cancellation policy in these Terms & Conditions does not replace or restrict any mandatory consumer right that applies to a particular booking.
20. Liability
Greek Soul will perform its obligations in accordance with applicable law and the confirmed booking arrangements.
The party responsible for delivering a particular service may vary according to the booking. Where an independent supplier operates the service, that supplier may be responsible for its own operational acts and omissions, subject to applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where liability cannot legally be excluded, fraud, wilful misconduct or other non-excludable liability.
To the extent permitted by law, Greek Soul is not responsible for losses caused solely by circumstances outside its reasonable control or by a third party for whose actions Greek Soul is not legally responsible. This does not affect any rights the customer may have under applicable consumer or package travel legislation.
Customers should raise any concerns about a service promptly so that reasonable steps can be taken to address them.
21. Force Majeure and Exceptional Circumstances
A service may be disrupted or become unavailable because of circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the relevant service provider, including severe weather, natural disasters, fire, public emergencies, government restrictions, strikes, road closures, port closures or transport disruption.
Where such circumstances affect a booking, Greek Soul will communicate with the customer as reasonably practicable and explain the available options.
Any rescheduling, cancellation, refund or other remedy will be determined in accordance with the applicable booking conditions and mandatory law. This section does not remove any refund or other right that the customer is legally entitled to receive.
22. Personal Data and Privacy
Greek Soul processes personal information as necessary to respond to enquiries, manage bookings, arrange services, process payments, provide customer support and comply with legal obligations.
Personal data will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection law, including the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), where applicable.
Customers should be informed about the relevant processing activities, legal bases, recipients, retention periods and their data protection rights through an appropriate privacy notice.
Contact information may be used to communicate with customers about their bookings and related service arrangements. Marketing communications will be handled in accordance with applicable consent and data protection requirements.
23. Cookies and Website Technologies
The website may use cookies or similar technologies to support essential website functions, remember preferences, understand website usage or provide other features.
Where consent is required by law, non-essential cookies or similar technologies will be used only after the required consent has been obtained. Customers may be able to manage their preferences through the available cookie settings and their browser settings.
Information about the cookies used, their purposes and how preferences can be managed should be provided in the website’s cookie information.
24. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the content published on greeksoul.gr, including text, photographs, graphics, logos, designs and other materials, is owned by Greek Soul or used with permission.
Content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified or commercially exploited without prior permission from the relevant rights holder, except where permitted by law.
The use of third-party names, logos or trademarks does not necessarily imply ownership by or affiliation with Greek Soul.
25. Website Use
Customers agree to use the website lawfully and not to misuse its booking functions, submit false information, interfere with its operation or attempt unauthorised access to its systems.
Greek Soul may take reasonable steps to protect the website, customers and booking systems from misuse, fraud or security threats.
26. Website Information and Availability
Greek Soul makes reasonable efforts to ensure that website descriptions, prices and other information are accurate and current.
However, minor errors, omissions or outdated information may occasionally occur. If an error materially affects a booking, Greek Soul will seek to contact the customer and agree an appropriate solution in accordance with applicable law.
Website availability may be interrupted for maintenance, technical problems or circumstances outside our reasonable control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free website access.
The terms of a confirmed booking will be interpreted together with the relevant service description and any applicable conditions provided before booking, subject to mandatory law.
27. External Websites and Links
The website may contain links to websites or services operated by third parties.
These links are provided for convenience. Greek Soul does not control all third-party websites and is not responsible for their content, privacy practices or availability, except where responsibility is imposed by applicable law.
Customers should review the relevant third party’s terms and privacy information before using its website or service.
28. Amendments to These Terms
Greek Soul may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in its services, booking processes, business operations or legal requirements.
The version published on the website will indicate the date on which it was last updated.
Changes will apply prospectively unless otherwise required by law. The terms applicable to an existing confirmed booking will not be changed retrospectively to the customer’s detriment where prohibited by applicable law.
Where a material change must be communicated to an existing customer, Greek Soul will provide the relevant information as required by law.
29. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Greece, subject to any mandatory consumer protection provisions that apply under European Union law or the law of the customer’s country of residence.
Where the customer is a consumer, nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to deprive the customer of protections that cannot lawfully be excluded or of access to any court or dispute resolution mechanism available under mandatory applicable law.
Customers may contact Greek Soul directly to attempt to resolve a complaint before pursuing other available remedies. Any applicable statutory rights remain unaffected.
30. Severability
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be applied to the maximum extent permitted by law or, where necessary, treated as severable.
The remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent that they remain valid and enforceable.
31. Entire Agreement
These Terms & Conditions, together with the applicable service description, quotation, booking confirmation and any additional conditions properly communicated before booking, form the agreement governing the relevant booking.
If there is a conflict between these Terms & Conditions and a mandatory legal requirement, the legal requirement will prevail.
Any specific written terms agreed with the customer for a particular booking will apply to that booking to the extent that they are valid and consistent with applicable law.
